"Jack" 'o Lantern

This year was Jack's first Halloween. After many long discussions, Matt and I finally decided on his costume - a "Jack" o' Lantern - or, a pumpkin. We spent the day at a Navy football game, so Jack got to show off his costume to a stadium full of people! Since we have season tickets, we sit next to the same people each game. All of the "regulars" said Jack is normally very cute in his Navy gear, but WAY cuter today in his Halloween costume. It was an exceptionally warm Halloween day, and the pumpkin got a little hot, so around halftime we switched to our "skeleton" outfit. Equally as cute!
After the game we took a few "memorable" Halloween pics in our costume on the front porch with our fall display of Hokie colored mums and pumpkins.

Boooooo....scary little skeleton! We didn't get any trick or treaters....was it because we got home from the game late.....or was it because of our spooky skeleton on the front porch? :)

Right before bed we posed in both of our costumes for pictures. Normally Mommy has to do something totally crazy to get a smile like this, but today was a special day....this smile (and it's accompanying giggles) came immediately when the camera was turned on.

That's one funny little pumpkin!
