So...I'm back at work now full time (or at least mostly full time)....can you tell? I know, I haven't posted for quite some time. Sorry to all of you who have checked back regularly for an update! I promise to be better! There is quite a bit to update! First of all, that adorable picture up there was taken at Jack's first football game! We got season tickets for Navy football this year and the first game of the year was against Louisiana Tech. It was a great first game for Jack. Perfect weather and a Navy win! Jack showed his Navy spirit in his blue and gold polo onsie.

Two weeks ago we travelled down to Blacksburg for the Hokie game against Nebraska. Unfortunately Jack didn't get to see the Hokies play ($50 for an infant game ticket is a bit to $$$) but he got to spend a lot of quality time with Grandma! Jack did prep for the trip by reading one of his favorite books, Hokie Bird's Journey Through Virginia, the night before we left.

The VT/Nebraska game was SO exciting!!!! For those of you who didn't see it, it was a last minute win, in true Hokie style! The Hokies truly did "harvest" Nebraska.

After the game, the students rushed the field. It was incredibly exciting! What a great game!

A couple weeks before, Matt and I attended the first Glee Club concert of the year. Matt is the Glee Club Officer rep so I will have the privilege of attending many more concerts! This is a photo of the Glee Club and the Anchor Men (a contemporary a capella group) during the concert. Afterwards we got to chat with the plebes at a get together at the director's house. Can't wait to get to know these super talented guys even better over the academic year!
