Last weekend we travelled to Christiansburg, VA (Go Hokies!) for Matt's 10 year High School Reunion. I know, I'm a little behind - it's been a busy week. It was a great weekend to see old friends and for Jack to spend some QT with Grandma. On Friday night Matt and I had dinner at the Farmhouse with several of his high school classmates and followed it up with drinks and Karaoke. If you've never been to Friday night Karaoke at the Farmhouse....it's an experience. Think 60 year old red neck man, drunk, singing Celine Dion.....
On Saturday we spent the morning doing some VT souvenir shopping at the bookstore. Jack got his first VT jersey. Saturday afternoon we had more reunion festivities - a picnic at Bisset Park in Radford. Jack got to meet lots of other babies - there were quite a few in his age range. Matt got the chance to catch up with a lot of his old friends. After the picnic we had a BBQ at Matt's sister Nicole's house with the family. It was great to see everyone - haven't seen them since we were at the beach in June. That night we had one more reunion get together - drinks at Bull and Bones - a new bar in Blacksburg. I was a great weekend. Can't wait to go back in a few weeks for the VT vs Nebraska game!!!
