There were hundreds of sailboats out on Sunday. On the horizon, they look like a bunch of sharks, just swimming around.
This is a view of the Naval Academy as we entered the Severn. We went into Annapolis parallel to the Naval Academy sea wall.
This is a view of Annapolis City Dock as we cruised by Ego Alley - too busy to actually go down Ego Alley and do "the loop". Annapolis was a very popular place on Sunday - for boats and people. Everything was crowded.
We stopped at the Annapolis City Marina in Eastport to refuel and make a pit stop. Jack was just hanging out, looking cute, flirting with the gas girl.
As we left downtown Annapolis we cruised by the Annapolis and Eastport Yacht Clubs - where the boats are bigger than our house. These boats, literally, have multiple floors, with real, spiral staircases. We saw a few of these boats pull out and get underway while we were in Annapolis. Everyone looked like they were having a great time - but how could you not on an unbelievable ship like that!
As I said above, we found a secluded little cove to moor and have some lunch. Jack had just eaten his own lunch, milk, but apparently wasn't satisfied. He has started grabbing for our food while we eat - I guess that means he's really ready for solids now! Matt was eating his apples slices and Jack swiped it right out of his hand. That apple didn't see Jack coming. It went right into his mouth and it got gummed for a good 5 minutes. There were even little chunks out of it - I guess we like apples! Too funny. It was a great day out on the water - can't wait for more!
