Today my parents joined us on the boat for a delicious brunch and cruise up and down the Magothy River. We haven't been able to get out on the boat for a couple weeks because of Matt's hectic schedule. It turned out to be perfect weather on the water today - sunny and an amazingly cool breeze (can't say that about land today....sure was hot!!!) Thanks mom for bringing the food...and thanks to me for bringing the mimosas and bloody marys!Jack and Daddy got to share some QT on the boat....they don't get to see each other much these days...but it should be better when plebe summer is over in a couple weeks. Jack was intent on eating Matt's hand...and not smiling for the camera...
Rumbly engines and sea breeze really do make you sleepy! Not to mention a life jacket that works like the snowsuit in A Christmas Story. If Jack could talk he would probably say "Ralphy, I can't put my arms down!!!"
Grammy and Pop enjoyed themselves on the boat and got a chance to just relax and catch up on some reading...and some "Jack" time!
